Admissions Staff Responsibilities
Primary Job Duties & Expectations
- Provide a Great Customer Experience
- Greeting people with “Hello” and a smile, using proper manners/being personable, and remembering that you are representing Prep Network.
- Enforce wristband policy consistently (no exceptions without direction from Event/Site Director)
- Help scan QR Codes and put the appropriate wristbands on all customers (Do NOT let them put them on themselves)
- Wear the staff shirt provided by Prep Network. No hats, ripped jeans, & open-toed shoes.
- Do NOT use your phone for personal use.
On-Site Responsibilities
Pre-Event
- Arrive 1 hour and 30 minutes early
- Find & Connect with the Director for the Team Meeting
- Scan the QR code below for the tournament/showcase admissions process using your phone camera. You will be provided a link from your Director for access.
If you were not provided with this link within 2 days of the event, please reach out to your Event Director.

- Locate Courts/Fields (#s)/Bathrooms/Water Fountains/Concessions/Athletic Trainer/Vendors
- Workers should know what courts/fields are at what site.
During the Event
- Remain stationed at assigned entrance(s) during peak entry times
- Rotate through each position every hour (band worker, admissions worker)
- Band Workers must stand by the admissions table
- Rotate through each position every hour (band worker, admissions worker)
- Manage the Stripe reader for credit card purchases for spectator tickets onsite.

Monitor re-entry traffic and ensure bands are visible/act as a visible deterrent to unauthorized access

- Check that all individuals entering are wearing the correct event wristband.
- Politely but firmly deny entry to anyone without a valid band.
- Direct unbanded individuals to the proper check-in location.
- Communicate Issues to the Director (missing bands, disputes, congestion)
Admissions staff must allow entry for anyone wearing an official staff and or media pass similar to the ones below.


- Additional media must complete the media form on the website.
- They will provide admissions with a QR code to scan for entry.
- Admissions staff give them a weekend wristband before entering the event.
- Support crowd flow and entry efficiency
- Thank the spectators, teams, and coaches for attending the event.
What This Role Is NOT
- Not answering specific event questions unless necessary.
- Team & Operational-related questions.
- Direct these questions to Event/Site Directors.
- Not roaming courts or facilities.
- Using your phone for personal use.
